Planning & Brainstorming group for Permanent Penumbra :)

Basics:

Humans woke up this morning and everything had changed...

Vampires were supposed to be nothing more than a myth. A creature splashed across books and films. They weren't meant to be real.
But they are. And they're taking control. And a bloodthirsty battle is to be endured.

And the one defence humans could rely on is taken. They've blotted out the sun.

But there's a prophecy. Neither race will gain complete control until their foretold champions are found.

Name: Danelle (Dani)
Age: 16
Species: Human
Appearance: Spattering of freckles across her nose and dirty blond straight hair reaching her waist, stone grey eyes, 5'6 with small curves.
Other: Dani is loud and strongly opinionated, being the youngest of her five siblings, she has always been looked after and is slightly spoilt and so doesn't know what to do when she is separated from her family. She likes to figure people out.

Name: Rhys
Age: 17
Species: Vampire
Appearance: High cheekbones and pale skin, long pure black hair tied into a plait that hangs over one shoulder, red eyes of the royal vampires, 5'9
Other: Rhys belongs to one of the royal families and is an only child, his father expects a lot of him whilst his mother completely ignores him. He lacks emotion and is a very analytical person. Very controlling.

Name: Towa
Age: 22
Species: Human (secret lycan...shhh)
Appearance: Short spiky hair the colour of dark brown, deep piercing blue eyes, stands at around 6'4. Mostly wears single colours, mostly black baggy hoodie and jeans with black biker boots.
Other: Towa is rather quiet and timed, preferring to avoid large crowds. An only child, his parents all but loosing contact with him. He has a huge appetite, and yet able to keep a very skinny appearance although beneath the baggy clothing are hints of a very powerful frame. Towa is what the lycans will call a pure blood.

Name: Bob van Den broek
Age: 19
Species: Human
Appearance: Short black hair and a little beard from ear to ear. Looks younger then his age is. Has a green and a blue eye. Around 5,9 and muscularly.
Other: Bob always was a fighter from his first day of primary school he had to fight the constant bullying and attacks from his classmates. He devolved some small fighting moves and isn't ashamed to use his fists when needed. He likes to have control over the situation otherwise he goes insane and starts to break stuff around him. He always had a weakness for the other gender. He likes to make them feel safe and comfortable around him.

Name: Julian
Age: 18
Species: Vamp (May be human at beginning of first chap if thats okay)
Appearance: Sandy hair, cut short. About 6' even, slight build. Dresses in a usual T-shirt, often red. Blue Jeans and black All-star sneakers. Typical vamp eyes, green as human.
Other: He's pretty ordinary. He doesnt have any special abilities, but he has this drive to be chivalrous and kind to people, though he can be cruel if he's pushed to it.

Name: Whisper Montgomery
Age: 19
Race: vampire
Personality: She pretends to be cruel to humans around other vampires but envies them for their simple lives. She doesn't mind the bloodlust but would prefer it if it was gone. She tries to be kind, caring and considerate though she finds it difficult. Flirts a lot with other vampires and wants to get into a relationship but she doesn't mind if its not exactly serious.
Appearance: Her eyes have a faint red taint in the blue from being extremely distantly related to royalty. Dark blonde hair that she hates but doesn't have the heart to dye it because her mother loved it. A few pale freckles on her nose. Fairly slim and stands at 5'9"
Other: She was born a vampire from a long line of vampires and distantly related to royalty but she doesn't tell anybody that.

For the first few chapters its just about people reacting to the disappearance of the sun and then suddenly vampire attacks, so humans are racing to leave big cities. At some point throughout all of that, our characters should meet :)

Um....idk where I would start O.o

Your characters the newest girl right? You have a choice of vamp and human bachelors, you wanna start a romantic infatuation with one of them eventually?

If another author is willing I would have no problem with that

Well, what do you want to do here?

Um. Idk. It might be a little easier if everyone would join. Like when are we all gonna meet?? Will we meet at all?? Are we going to try and get the sun back?? Stuff lile that??

We are gonna meet, as was mentioned above. I personally want to try and bring the sun back, or at least get some semblance of a happy ending something like: its not as good as it could be but it'll get better.

I think the order of who we meet up with when is up to lacation. Where is everyone to start with?

I think we are scattered but we need to figure out where we all meet. Not all at the same time I hope cuz I think that would be too rushed.

Where's your character located? Mines in upstate New York.

Hm. New Orleans I think. Iri likes cities and parties lol

Dani is in Brooklyn and Rhys lives near New York but lives in a secluded mansion type thing. And the eventual storyline does lead to them figuring out where the device blocking the sun is and then somehow fighting their way to it and destroying it. But there can be other events that happen before that :)
Also @JSimmons with turned vampires their eye colour is the same as before they were turned :)

Yeah, I saw that which means his eyes stay green. So, I guess ill run into dani first, brooklyns close to new york right? New jersey I think?

no, on the other side of New York :p But they could do. I know that vampires will break into her class and take them off in masses to start the "enslaving" process, but the royals have planned a breakdown in the delivery which Rhys is supposed to intercept. But it goes wrong and rather than escaping with all of them, only Dani gets out :)

Well, maybe Julian hunts her down and decides in the end to spare her life, him being a pretty decent guy after all, I plan for the woman who turned him to go away in the next chap or so I write.

Okie Iri has some contacts in New York so that's how she'll meet the others :]

nice :) Though after Rhys only gets away with Dani he leaves, I think that's when Towa joined the group, I'll get oggy to write what he plans though in case
