For those interested in outlining and discussing specific ongoing storylines.
Sometimes simply using the comments area to refine a story's plot, sending private messages to co-authors to discuss characters, or updating the author guidance with setting information isn't quite enough.
If you have an elaborate, complex tale — be it solo or collaborative — come by the Planning & Brainstorming group to storyboard, outline, annotate, draft, and discuss your work's plot, characters, setting, history, intrigue, or anything that comes to mind.
Please try and keep all discussion topics you create centered around a single work!
Note: The intention is to move all story-related discussions in this group into "Story Wikis" (a new feature, currently in planning) down the road, so please use this group instead of posting new works to discuss backstory/characters/story meta-information.
K so after reading all the comments we have a very mixed group that won't neccessarily get along, that would be an effective way to use my character Jack.
They are distrustful of each other but gather a sense of unity when they all tell him to shut up all the time due to his incessant annoying of others.
I'm thinking that Jack and Valak will have a most interesting relationship, considering Valak's personality and Jack's addiction to antagonizing people, it might be a test of Destran's leadership to make sure Valak doesn't try to kill Jack constantly.
Thoughts people?
So Valak is greedy, but is he really a theif? I didn't detect him as a bad guy...
and maybe everyone will be together again im just exploring possibilities for the story :)
its a collab :) it could go anywhere :)
All I know is that I would like Jack to be used as a deterrant. To add humour in serious situations, add contrasts to characters to see how they would react in sensitive situations. To have him as somebody the reader can know that if he got involved, something awesome is going to happen.
Something to offer the reader a refreshing breath so they don't get too sucked in to the depth of the situation in the story. If such a thing is possible? =D
im way too tired right now :/
im just waitin to see if J posts so that i can but that doesnt look like its gonna happen so i think im off for tonight :)
night all :)
Sorry, it took longer than expected.

Quoting you, I like your thinking, anyway, welcome to protagonize's best features, and I think you'll get along nicely with this group, now I'm just going off first impressions, but Wolfe is awesome, Stargazer's awesome, you seem pretty cool, I think this collab will work very well :)
I'm glad you understood what I said, felt pretty stupid when wolfe didn't get it lol!
I've always had a good imagination, but my real talent is adding an idea to something to give it that little bit extra 'oompth' if you know what I mean?
Jack is perfect to use as a ligitimate excuse to explore individual characters, if there is an awkward moment, he'll rip it apart and shove it in their faces so they have to deal with it.
Plus I've always had a difficulty writing what I am truly thinking down into effective words, so I plan to learn from you amazing folk =D
You can call me whatever you like btw =)
now.. tell me, whats this plan? :P
