For those interested in outlining and discussing specific ongoing storylines.
Sometimes simply using the comments area to refine a story's plot, sending private messages to co-authors to discuss characters, or updating the author guidance with setting information isn't quite enough.
If you have an elaborate, complex tale — be it solo or collaborative — come by the Planning & Brainstorming group to storyboard, outline, annotate, draft, and discuss your work's plot, characters, setting, history, intrigue, or anything that comes to mind.
Please try and keep all discussion topics you create centered around a single work!
Note: The intention is to move all story-related discussions in this group into "Story Wikis" (a new feature, currently in planning) down the road, so please use this group instead of posting new works to discuss backstory/characters/story meta-information.
Just have the Unlimited leaders names somat onamous and creepy like the Illusive Man or the Shadowed Sword or something.
And I kinda see him having Nora's powers or similar. Maybe he oooooo IDEA! What if he had the ability to imbue metal with certain properties abit like alchememy, so he could just wave a hand and his sword indistructable and razour sharp or click his fingers and his enemies blades just melts or rusts.
Well Nora's power is that she can repair her damaged cells. So if she's on the verge of dying it can all be repaired instantly unless someone has a power that can counter it (Nate does).
I like the alchemy idea for him
And yeah its a british book and british film :) a very british spy thiller with limited explosions and car chases :') haha we are a boring people :P X
That's okay, I'm sure we're just kind of stupid over here. We have NASCAR and Mission Impossible (they suck). Also the Bourne series (but those are actually good!!).
I'm compiling a list of the characters + their gifts for easy reference + brainstorming.
thats actually a brilliant idea haha :D I'll do that (not stealing your ideas or anything) and thanks I'm glad you like him :) He's essentialy Tytos from my private novels, but older and with a scar, and carries swords not a scythe haha :') So yeah :)
@Ilmay
Yeah that sounds good to me, I see Sir Arthur as being a big player in the war with all his know how and experiance so was probably around the Leaders of the Virtues alot :)
His kind of side-kick power (though it's not really side-kick) is that he has the extremely rare ability to transport anywhere. Honestly the chances of ever getting this power is one-in-a-billion (not million, that's how rare it is).
At first he doesn't know about it until he fights Nora and they suddenly get transported to a place in the north pole. When he transports though they're falling off a cliff. He doesn't quite know how to control even at the end of everything.
But you know.... they're not really in this story that much.
Arianne Aurore: Light manipulation.
Ezekiel: alchemy
Nora: regeneration
Nate: lethal force-field control; teleportation
Kathrin Taylor: Elemental control; temporary mammalian control.
Francis Myre: Shadow-fading; invisibility?
Atherin Gallows: Weather manipulation; small-time witchcraft.
Darkstar: Telepathy; thought/image-implanting.
But we still have to come up with names for the other two Gifted leaders. Look for names please and then we'll do powers for them.
(interesting) Popular female names in the 1900s: Florence, Josephine, Evelyn, Viola, Mae, Blanche, Stella... There's a bunch of female ones!
