I am new -as the title suggests- duh! Lol! As you can see i am also funny. I was wondering how to talk to people on this site.

In what way? Most of us just post comments onto others' profiles and work. There should be a comment-box in which to do so. If you wish to speak privately to other users, there's also a 'contact author' button under their yellow profile-box, which then can send a message to their email- to reply back, you then have to use email. Though not totally convenient, it works.

Easier to access in what way? If you mean sharing with people not registered on Protagonize, there's a Share button on every story and branch, which hooks up with Facebook and Twitter.

@WritingBlock, there are over 20,000 registered accounts on Protagonize, but there are by no means that many active participants. To the best of my knowledge the 90-9-1 rule of social media applies: roughly 90% of the accounts are inactive users, 9% are passive (meaning they read but don't participate or visit infrequently), and 1% are active Protagonize users posting stories and leaving comments.

@Jackerbie the 90-9-1 funnel may not quite accurately apply here. Our funnel is quite a bit wider on the bottom two tiers, based on your description. :)

Usually it's about 10% of any given community that's quite active and the other 90% are generally lurking. The 10% can break down in a variety of ways, but in our case they're all content-creators of some form. The 1-2% at the bottom are generally your power-users who are on every day and inspiring everyone else to create and contribute. :)

Hi @Alic - I don't see anything in your posts listing, are you sure it actually posted?

Once you submit it, it should immediately refresh with the posted story.. if it didn't, it probably didn't post correctly. It may have shown you errors in your submission if that's the case.

Hello, I have a new question. How do I rate someones work if there is no rating stars at the bottom of the page?

Hi @Alic,

If the rating stars are invisible, it means that the work in question can't be rated, or it's been submitted to a group that doesn't allow ratings.

In that case, it's not meant to be rated. :) If it's flagged as un-rateable, there will be a note in the work statistics box about it.
