Protagonize is a creative writing community dedicated to writing various forms of collaborative, interactive fiction.
One author writes a story, poem, or other work, and others post branches or chapters to it in different directions. The result is an organic, evolving tale where everyone can participate.

I registered to this site in a solemn effort to change that.
My main focus has always been in speculating and imagining stories moreso than writing them (euphemism for my aforementioned laziness). I continually update my knowledge of: literary techniques, the tropes of the day and what works fundamentally along with what doesn't. I've seen and read the reviews. I know the stereotypes. I can analyze most any given piece to see the internal mechanisms at play. Despite this; however, I am yet to have written even one complete, original work. Not one.
Why am I here, then, if not as a writer among his common yolk? Well, I want to write. But, I also want to share what I write with other people, and see what they've written as well. To be frank, it sounds like fun - and I hope that this site might inspire me to finally sit up and take control of my ideas. :)

If your interested in someone to read your work or work with you, just hit me up. I love writing and do it constantly, though I, I will admit, am a horrible speller, I'm pretty good at editing other people's work.
I've finished two stories. One one-hundred page novel and one novella. Not I'm working on a much, much longer book that I am predicting, at the end, will be around three to four hundred pages if I stick to the direct plot.
So I'm a lot like you. I love to dream up stories, and do it all the time. A lot of the time when I shouldn't.
So just dropping by to say hello back! Well, and to say the above :).
I am more then sure that you will fit right in here as everyone is friendly and willing to help.
I have not finished a story that has been published here, but I am involved in 4 collaborative stories, and like you, I never wrote a story with anyone before joining this website.
And then I joined the collaborative corner. I highly recommend it if you are interested in working with others.
If you need any help, I am more then willing to answer any questions. And I am sure there is a numerous other people willing to help.
For example, the Moderators, they are very helpful.
