Protagonize is a creative writing community dedicated to writing various forms of collaborative, interactive fiction.
One author writes a story, poem, or other work, and others post branches or chapters to it in different directions. The result is an organic, evolving tale where everyone can participate.

I write mainly in the dark fantasy, gothic horror style with a little traditional sword and sorcery style fantasy thrown in for good measure. The problem is that I have written anything for a while; I used to be quite prolific, and then it all kind of fizzled out. So, this is my attempt at kick-starting myself into some writing again. I have uploaded some of my older works to my page so that people can get a feel for what I am about while I try and shuffle together something more recent; or get myself into gear and start writing something now.
On another note, if anyone is interested in co-authoring some work with me in the dark fantasy/gothic setting please drop me a line; I'd love to hear from you.

I believe that you will find this abode to your taste. In the event that you run into a few bats in the Protag bellfry, be a darling and chase them out - they're mine, but I can never seem to convince them to congregate anywhere near my page. I think my sheepy guise embarrasses them, I oft hear my fluttering friends squeaking high disapproving notes in my direction. But I, being so truly deeply Goth that I have risen to the next level of being insistently NotAGoth, I wear my sheepskin with pride. Of course, one with an eye as sharp as I am sure yours is, would notice immediately that I have not forsaken my penchant for Robert Smith-inspired lipstick. In pink. This hardly helps matters between me and my flying mammalian friends, who insist it's black, or go home.
