To be honest, I just joined. I've been looking for a place to go that could help push me to work on my writing. I've joined sites before but they are very introverted. I'm looking for people who will give me the push I need when I feel stuck and the pat on the shoulder when I feel like what I wrote is complete rubbish. I do hope that I have finally found that home. I, likewise, hope to be able to help someone else. I find it hard to tell someone about my stories and I'm sure I am not the only one. If you are out there and are the same why, add me, write me, just do what it is you do!

50 Word Stories
Mini Saga Challenge
both of these offer up short prompts in the form of a story title, and you've got only 50 words to work with. for the most part they're quick to do, and can really get your creativity flowing.
unfortunately both of them work on an invite system, but most authors tend to include a "free for all" branch amidst the invitations. page through them and see if anything catches your eye!
