No? Just me then? Ah, well.

Write-ins are so much fun :D I got 50k.
O_O
Congratulations Del!! *does celebratory dance*

You are possibly the fastest writer I have ever known! I don't understand how you managed to complete that so fast.

xxx
@Burnthestars - Yeah, I feel the same way :D

@dottylotti - Neither do I. That, and school as well! Write-in today up in London - very motivating and I won a sticker which is now on my laptop :)

SO MANY TICTACS....
Congrats! I'm still hovering around a 10th of that, waiting to pick up momentum.
wow! My meetup created greater procrastination! Congrats! And did you finish it, or will you be continuing?
AMAZING! congrats! did you finished it completely or are you editing it and stuff? o.O

Del, you make me cry because I can not compete with your word generating power. Only 235 words today. I only hope MOnday is as productive as the last with nealr 3,000 word. *sigh*

I haven't had any chances to got to a write-in, but I so want to!

:} Elorithryn
Oh damn. Only 3k so far. :(

Congrats, girl. You're too fast :)
Argh, I gave up after 4500 words after I got bored. Felt weird for a while, but then I felt really free. I really need to join again next year so I can quit.

Well on the plus side I actually manages to hit over 1667 words for Sunday, therebye keeping myself on track. I got to a conversation that I feel I could totally babble on with, though the whole thing is likely to be stricken from the book wehn I go a editing. Ah well, it's good for the word count. *giggles* And it won't technically be stricken, I'll just condense it you know. *grin*

@ Those who asked if I've finished - no. I'm writing about KING Niall ... at 53k, he's not even king yet, though he's just been announced as successor. Lol!

@Elo - Quite a bit of mine is gonna go. Like "The nights were getting colder by the day". Hmm. Oh, and "It just about summed up her general attitude to rules in general." NaNoisms mucho!

@TheJackster - See, I'm in love with my plot, so that's not gonna happen to me! It's a shame. It would be nice if you joined next year ... but don't quit!

@Ritu - Thank you :) But don't worry, you'll get there in the end ... hopefully.

@DevinEdward - Good for you! You're ahead of this lot, that's for sure...

Bah see all you kids have way more free time than you think you do. Seriously I thought I'd have sooo much free time when I became an adult and somehow it's been sucked away. Although with my daughter sick and staying home with her as she napes, definaly gave me a chance to up my word coutn to 14.7K in less than 1.5 hours (~1800 words written)

*grin*

Excuse me? I get up and go to school one hour early three days a week so that I can write! That's commitment, not free time!

Del, Del, Del.

I'm not talking about commitment here. I"m talking about actual free time that I have without making any extra like you just stated you did.

I am serious when I state I thought I would have more free time once I was out of school and had a real job. And I am serious when I say that I actually don't, and didn't even before I had kids.

Our perspectives are different Del. that is all.

:} Elorithryn
I has no free time. Wait, lie. I can't dance, hence free time. When I dance, no free time. Homework and practice is evil and steals time. Del have no free time. Del sad.

Del brain screwed by too much writing. Too many tictacs. Del die....
Protagonize Moderator
No Del No, don't die!

hm, wait, wait, wait, no *elo looks crest fallen* I can't turn that into a Dr. Suess rhyme, darn.

I wish I could ask him how long it took to write a book like Cat in the Hat, because it's it shear brilliance that I could never hope to emulate no matter how hard I try. *sigh*

But in all seriousness Del, take the anti tictac pill and LIVE!

Extract:

"I really wish people would stop looking over Author's shoulder while she's trying to write," said Niall, and Siofra started laughing, not least because the utter seriousness of his comment and the way it was written seemed strangely humourous. The fourth wall, somewhere in the land of hypothetical building, crashed to the ground.
Siofra peered out from behind the pile of rubble. "Is it safe to come out now?" she asked, hoping they would be allowed to scrap that whole paragraph.
I took a trip on Sunday so that I could write while the kids played with grandma... I got 300 words done, packed up the kids so that I could be home by 9 and get 3 hours of hard core writing in that evening... I LEFT my laptop at their house! (2hour drive)

So instead of writing on Sunday night, or any of my free time on Monday... I ended up taking 5 hours out of my day on yesterday just to go and get the computer and bring it back home. :-( I am now 8k words behind and have lost considerable momentum!
Aww, I feel for you. *sporks driving* Would you like a woobie to make you feel better?
