I am developing a method through which I would like to use Protagonize to put together monthly collection of works similar to e-zines or anthologies. So far I've started two works which follow this model: Speed of Life, and Distributed.Me. Each of these works contain pieces that I wrote and then shared via my accounts on other sites. At the end of the month, I will share the collection of works as a completed story on Protagonize, and then start new stories in February.
I was wondering if anybody else had tried using Protagonize in this same manner, and if so how did it work out for them? Also, I hope that I am not breaking any rules by using this website in this manner. I am very excited by the opportunities that are created by Protagonize and hope to continue to include it in my experiment.
If you'd like to learn more about what I'm doing, please see my profile or email me at 32bpwr3@gmail.com.
hmm... i can't think of any examples where stories were collected into a single anthology, but poetry anthologies do immediately spring to mind. on of our most prolific poets, ElzuWolfe, has a couple such pieces on Protagonize, such as Blue Sky Drowning and Phantom Mechanics. he might be worth speaking to, as i believe he's actually working to have at least one of the anthologies published (he might have taken it offline, though).
