Well, I am new here on Protagonize and am just trying to get my bearings on this new place, so any help, tips, etc that those on the more knowledgeable and experienced end of things might be able to provide for me would be swell.
Also, for a more ambitious mentor, one of my longer prose project (I have several, er, I struggle with sticking to one thing. Yup, I know some of y'all are resonating with that) is something due to specific piece of autobiographical content, something I am struggling to find the right person to give me some feedback on. I'm thinking a stranger would perhaps be the best.
The working title for the book is "Perspective" and its basically the story of a family that is falling apart as told from the separate perspective of each family member. The goal are to a) tell a fairly interesting story, b) illuminate the role that perspective plays in relationship and conflict and c) cause the reader to feel touched by the story and intrigued by the role that perspective might be playing in his or her life.
So, if you are gracious enough to actually want to read a portion of this particular manuscript and give me some feedback I'd be very grateful, or if you'd just like to help me on my way as I enter into the Protag (Protag? An ok abbreviation?) world, I would b equally as grateful.
@SattaLite I'd love to read the manuscript! It sounds like a very interesting concept and you write very well...send it over if and when you get the chance! I look forward to reading it and providing any feedback for you! -Leah
