And we don't allow her to lick scabs, as such, she just has a habit of grooming arms and such, and decides that any injuries need a good clean as well. I think she like the rough feeling against her tongue, as well.
I have names for my future dogs, future cats and future children. Once I grasp 'behaving like a responsible adult', I will be well on my way to putting said names to use, haha.
All of our cats have been rescue cats, in one way or another. Your dog sounds lovely :)
