HI all, I joined a while ago, but thought I should pop in and say hi. Flash fiction sounds like a very fun challenge, and I'm up for it.

Here, here! Flash fiction is a brilliant way of getting people to start writing again. Short stories, essays, novellas...they're intimidating.

An experiment in NANO-FICTION a friend and I started recently: http://6wordspluspostage.wordpress.com. It combines visual/artistic elements to the mix and challenges people in a different kind of way.

Hi. My name's Brittany. I've been on Protagonize since March 2008. I like to write short stories... but I would love to try and find a way to write "novel" type stories. For some reason, when I try to write novel type stories... I just get bored and I can't continue it because another idea pops in my head. So ... most of my short stories are the beginnings of my "novel" stories. :) I'm excited to start the new year with being in this group (since I'm starting my 1st year of High-school... I will try to get rid of this writers block that I've had for quiet some time.)

I'm glad to be apart of this group & to see what everyone else contributes to this group!

Hi, everybody. I'm a little late to the party! But I'd like to join in. I love writing (and reading) flash fiction, and I also love prompts. You guys look like a great group to me!

Reading what I can expect as a member - weekly exercises, friendly competitions and whatnot - really gave me butterflies.

I've never tried flash fiction knowingly before, so I'd be happy to give this all a whirl and see how everything turns out!

It's probobaly just the NanoWrimo thing, it takes up alot of time I hear. I don't think I'd ever attempt it, it would take forever.

I used to write a lot, relatively, in high school and just started again this semester, writing/reading/listening to audio books <.< that counts too right?
