The Critiques Wanted group is aimed at authors who are looking for serious, detailed critiques and assessments of their work. If you think you've got a great piece of writing, gather up your courage and post it here for review.
If you're just looking for a quick pat on the back, or simply for someone to "read my story", this may not be the group for you. Instead, you'll be best served if you really want some solid discussion regarding what you're doing right or wrong, and how you can improve your writing, both technically and stylistically.

My novel series is a fantasy story about a war in a fictional place called Karst. You follow two different characters on opposite sides of the war in this first book. Technically the novel is complete but I am editing the whole thing so I am only posting a little bit at a time.
I have been working on this series for many years and I want to get serious about publishing it. Recently I have redone the whole first book (called Erythro, link above). Because of that I need serious critiques. Critiques helped me to realize that my original version had so many loose ends and plot holes that it was worth fixing up. I'm hoping that serious critiques will help me to make this new version better. Please be brutal! I need it!
I can also give critiques. I take everything I read seriously and I will tell you what I honestly think. I am good with grammar and such, so I can point out little errors for you. I will read anything! (I am not terribly good at poetry, but I'll give it a try.) Leave your link here and I will do my best to help you.
