I had an idea... Here's the link to it, and here's the description anyway:

Write a poem using only one hand. That is, when typing, assuming you're using a qwerty keyboard and the standard hand positioning, use only words that can be typed with one hand. Right or left, doesn't matter which, just stick to it throughout the entire piece. It doesn't have to be long. It doesn't have to be a 'poem' either, if you're the prose type. Whatever you want.
So, for the left hand, your letters are:

a c d e f g q r s t v w x z

Or, for the right hand:

b h i j k l m n o p u y

At least, that's the way I do it. B is right smack in the middle, so whichever hand you use for B, put it in the appropriate list. And if you do anything else differently, use your version, not mine.

Can it be done? Maybe! I haven't tried it yet. And I probably won't get around to it any time today, so I'm giving you folks a chance to beat me to it. Ok, go!

About this group

Like the Collaborative Corner, but for poetry!

A lot of poems sit around untouched forever, despite being left "collaborative". Seems to me we need a place to announce that we intend our poems to be continued. So bring your collaborative poem-stories, your poetry challenges and unique poem ideas here! There are people out there (cough me cough) who are constantly looking for other people's poems to continue. So, give us some links! ;)
