Harru has a thing going on with Alice, so if you kill Alice I'll kill Harru too (his heart will ache)! AND I MEAN IT!
Don't leave Maggie. I can totally see Alice continue with the story and she brings a very interesting perspective to the story. I absolutely loved your first chapter, it was so deep and emotional. I felt for Alice and I want to see her develop further into the plot.
Pretty please don't leave. If you need help coming up with ideas just say so! We're here to help you.
Here is what Maggie and I discussed about the whole Harru-Alice thing:
I have a lot of ideas (:
So currently, we're fighting off the cannibals, yes? chimera and starwarsfreak already posted their chapter telling the battle from their point of view. I plan to write a chapter for Tamhia (a newly introduced character) and one for Harru (which might come later on, maybe after Alice's chapter if you wish).
Anyway, remember you wrote that Alice lost her mother to some guys who were looking for Alice? And that her father had died on the hands of some unidentified creature? Well, how about Alice remembers some voices from that terrible past and she realizes that the same cannibals/monsters that are attacking Toronto right now were the same that attacked and killed Alice's mother. So naturally she wants revenge. She'll go out and fight them, looking for the one who killed her mother or something.
If she turns out to be strong or weak (and maybe Harru can save her) it's up to you. I'm okay with anything you wish to do.
And here it's for why Harru likes Alice (although he doesn't know it or doesn't want to admit to it):
This thought was out of impulse, just thought it might make the story deeper and more dramatic.
Harru feels for Alice's loss I guess. And he wants to make everything right for her. Besides, he also lost his mother almost the same way, so there's a connection..
Writing.
