You're right. But its a very tyrannical government and many people (wielders and non wielders) do not like how the royalty are managing things at the moment. The King dies before the wielders bring death to him. The older son tries to kill his young brother. When the king and brother are both gone, he can do as he pleases. Dunno, we'll see what happens.

yeah but the King and the old rule will have a fair bit of supporters and still a fair bit of people against the element wielders.
