You know how in small towns everyone knows everyone? And there are always the stereotypical people who fill certain, almost prewritten roles?

I want one.

Basically, I think it'd be cool if we could create our own small town and fill it with these sorts of people. Not everyone would have to write as a teen. There could be older people or even younger people. I have no story directions or anything, because I dont think these things through hahah. But we could all work together to figure out how their lives intermingle and how they go through their days.

I'm new here, so I'm not so sure about collab 'etiquette' but I'd love to give it a go. If we make up the plot as we go along, then it gives more space to be creative and imaginative :)

Not sure if I would join (already pressed for time as it is), but the concept is pretty awesome. Mayberry of Protag :=P

In any case, it would be interesting to see where this idea goes.

Having a map of the town would be cool.

Yeah, that would be tight. I could prolly draw something up, post it on tumblr or something and then give you cool cats a link :DD

And as for how many, I dont really care. We can prolly start bios tonight when I get home from work.

I think you have two genres here: normal town filled with normal human folk or not-so-normal town filled with the Protag freak of the week.

Personally I would vote for the normal town, but the supernatural is a favorite among many Protaggers.

Nahh, I wanna keep this a standard small town. Sort of a way to reveal the inner workings of it all, and how everything is connected whether we want to admit it or not.
