The story is already in progress, and going well.
Thanks and happy writing.

I have disabled ratings for obvious reasons. If people want to republish the chapters in their own names and allow for ratings, do let me know.
This was Round 1 of the exercise - http://www.protagonize.com/exercise/an-exquisite-corpse
The First Edition was interesting, but a little incomplete. It ended on a cliffhanger, and in a world where there are more sequels than originals (paradoxical, i know.) a sequel seems apt.
We shall improve on the past, better it, and in the process take it in a completely different direction.
I hope to continue with this exercise, tweaking the rules a little to make it a little more interesting. It continues to remain experimental, so expect unusual results.
So ... do let me know if anyone is interested in Round 2 of the The Exquisite Corpse.
The exquisite corpse shall drink the new wine.
Are we on for Round 2? I've read up and am interested in participating.

This time around it is a sequel, which continues from Edition 1.0 at http://www.protagonize.com/exercise/an-exquisite-corpse
It has the following characters so far : Narrator, Eliza, Minette, Sarah, Matthew
The aim of the current sequel is to bring about some sort of closure to the story. The story has to end. This, of course, depends on the writers. Some like to tie up loose ends, others like to leave their readers on a cliffhanger, and so on.
So this time around, the rules are as follows:
Most rules are the same from last time :
1) You will only get the last paragraph of a random author's writing.
2) You need to continue on that. (Minimum words : 150; Maximum words : 300)
It can be any kind of prose. No rules here, except that it needs to be prose.
Because this is random, do remember, that there is a probability that you are the last author in the collaborative, so you might like to give some sort of closure to the story.
And you have to help with your writing, the entire first edition of the collaborative. How this information influences your writing depends on what kind of author you are.
3) Once you finish your piece, you will write one word that you think best describes (or comes close to describing) your piece of work and send it along via email to me.
The next author gets this word along with your last paragraph.
I shall randomly send sentences(and a word) to the authors through email and hopefully in a week's time, we shall have our cadaver ready.
Thanks.
