My Wall Of Quotes

Right, I think I had better explain first. Recently I gathered up all my favourite quotes and stuck 'em on my wall. Beware, you might be a bit offended. The back wall of my bedroom has now been renamed 'the wall of stuff'. Here they are: (I may add to this later).

'First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win'

  - Mahatma Gandhi

'When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity; when many people suffer from a delusion, it is called religion'

-Robert Pirsig

'God is merely a comedian performing to an audience too afraid to laugh'

'Philosophers have only interpreted the world in various ways; the point, however, is to change it'

-Karl Marx, 11th thesis on Feuerbach

'Only two things are infinite; the universe and human stupidity. And I'm not so sure about the former'

-Albert Einstein

'Jesus is coming, look busy'

'Workers of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your chains'

-Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, the Communist Manifesto

'It's all my parents' fault'

-Unknown, found on a postcard in Leeds city centre.

So there you have it! Hopefully this has given you an insight into my personality and interests. So I'll leave you with this one, courtesy of A.A. Milne:

'Long words bore me'

-Winnie the Pooh

Says it all really!

The End
