As I lay in my ropey nest, I struggled through the misty fug (fug being a better word for smog) in my brain to remember how I'd come to be here. Nothing really fit together, so I just assumed I'd gotten tired due to the massive time difference between Hawaii and Manchester and gone off for a quiet kip, away from the mathematics and excitement.
I heard a shout of hello, a voice I recognised.
"Urgh, five more minutes."
I curled up and let sleep retake me.
