Through the darkness, I felt pressure on my knee. This was familiar - someone was patching me up.

My eyes flickered open, and I saw anxious faces above me, watching as someone wrapped up my wound with my only spare t-shirt. Twilight related, obviously.

Half out of it, I sat up, shooing away the people fussing about me by waving my hands around a bit.

"It's okay. I'm fine. It's just b-blood." I would be blushing at the attention if I wasn't green. I felt like I was going to throw up.

"Excuse me!" I stuttered, lurching into the trees.

When I'd finished puking, I walked over to my bag, which had been dropped on the ground unceremoniously. I limped every other step, and I looked down to see my sequined converse wet with blood.

Feeling woosy, I sat on the soft ground again. I could sense the eyes of the crowd on me, but I tried to act natural, sorting through my bag for something to distract me with. I pulled out Eclipse again and rushed through chapter twenty - my favourite scene.

Gradually, I felt my pulse lower and I stood up again. Turning to face the watching crowd, I apologised.

"Umm... sorry. I have a phobia of blood. I'm okay, though." That was a lie, but I wasn't exactly going to tell them I felt like I was about to faint again, was I? I don't much like people going out of their way for me.

Great, now my hand stung, my knee throbbed, and I knew that it would take at least another few hours for me to get back to 'normal'.

I'm ready for adventure!

The End
