Write the words of an experimental form poem and explain how you would bring it to life. Prompt: Festive evenings.
Ideas of words inside boxes – like presents. One can only open some of them? Some make sentences – some are just gibberish to add to the rushing confusion of Winter’s Eve/Christmas. Everybody wants to open their presents at the same time – there is a sense of love, but also a sense of greed.
There is also the possibility of looping boxes around – there is a definite/final sentence, but there are many possibilities—and also many glimmers of the past and/or the future within the past and/or the future.
(may not include the last love)
Greed and love they are two of The same Gifts. We are Human Hidden Full of Wanting Yet we love. Yet we carry the same traditions as if they are nothing more than love.
