Why I Write

I write to escape. From my fears, from the world, from myself. When I write, the words surround me, and separate me from the rest of the world. I write to set myself apart from everything for a while, and take a break from reality, in my own little fantasy land.

I write for that feeling. That feeling of excitement, when I start writing my work. That feeling of inspiration in the middle. And that feeling of accomplishment when I'm finished.

I write to to discover. To discover my emotions. To discover my meaning. To discover myself.

I write to help. To help that person that's so desperately in need of it. The words might be exactly what that person needs at a certain moment. And in knowing that, I continue to write more.

I write to live.

The End
