Ellie: Don't Leave Me

It was late. Well actually it was early, 2:00am in the morning, and I stood outside of Jerry's front door, clutching the bracelet from Ami in my clammy hand. Sweat broke out across my forehead. I must've looked terrible. My parents would be looking for me.

But yet, I knocked.

And waited.

It took a long time, but eventually Jerry's father opened the door looking grouchy. He lifted his eye brow at me, wiping the sleepies in his eyes.

"Is Jerry there?" I asked, swallowing.

"He's asleep." he grumbled angrily. I looked at him and paused.

"Look I'm sorry but I really need to see him." I pushed past his dad and ran up the stairs, looking around for his room. I opened the door quickly and shut it behind me, turning the lock.

Jerry sat upright on the bed with red cheeks. He was sleeping, but had obviously woken up during the night. His father banged on the door.

"Young lady! Open up!" he shouted. I ran over to the bed, watching Jerry wake up. He looked around then his eyes widened when he got to me.

"Ellie? What are you doing here?!" he asked. I clambered into bed next to him and hid under the covers, wrapping my arms around his muscular chest and pulling the covers over us. I stayed where I was.

"Don't leave me, please. I'm different now. I didn't mean what I said." He gently stroked the top of my head.

He didn't say anything, only lifted my head up towards him. Then his lips pressed against mine, and it all disappeared.

The End
