Her Last Day - Jerry

I stumble down the corridoor, to the Headmaster's office.
I feel like I need to tell him, as I was the last one to see her alive, apart from the killer really.
I reach the door, and knock.
"Come in" His voice calls out.
I open the door, and wander in.
"Ah, Jerry!" Detective Alder says, sitting in the Head's chair, behind her desk. "Feeling better?"
I gulp.
"Yes, sir." I close the door behind me, and fall into a chair in front of the desk.
"Well, I assume you are here to talk about Ally?" He picked up a notebook and a pen lying in front 0f him.  "Mind if I take notes?"
"If you want."
"Alright. So, first of all, tell me your relationship with Ally."
I sigh.
"It's a bit complicated, and I can't really remember when we met, but we were best friends. I always made her laugh, and she nicknamed me Jerry The Joker. We were so close."
"Ok."
"And then, well, I don't really know how to explain it." I give him a sad look. "I guess the best way to say it, is just come out and say it."
"Go on...?"
"Well, I guess, I fell in love."
I sighed again.
"I don't know when it began, but it happened. I lay awake thinking about her.
I dreamed about her every single night. Then one day, last december, I told her."
"Yes?"
"She was a bit weird for sometime. But then she came back, and I think she loved me back. Then, a few nights before she... left, we went to a resteraunt, and had some food. Then we said our goodbyes, and..." He knew the rest.
"There was something else, as well."
He scribbled a few more notes down.
"Go on."
"The day before I told her, I think, something happened. There was a boy. Ethan.
He sat on our table in science. I probably should have been more careful, but there isn't any helping that now." I sighed again.
"I was messing around, and I spilled some chemicals on Ethan's book. Ally almost wet herself laughing. I said sorry, obviously, but he looked not daggers at us, but blooming great swords. It was scary."
"Really?" The detective said. "Is that all?"
"No, not really."
"Oh ok."
"Well, then, he kept staring at us. He looked like he wanted to kill us. Then, there was that time, at the shopping centre. He told Ally to go and drown herself."
"That's not very nice." He said.
"Yup. I think he also got someone to write notes on her and me. They were very detailed notes. We found them shortly before..." I trailed off, as a tear fell down my cheek.
"It's alright Jerry. Is that everything, or is there anything else you want to add?"
"No, that's it, I think." I said as I sniffed.
"Alright. Thank you, Jerry. I'll keep an eye on this Ethan character."
I got up, and stumbled out. I'd been stumbling a lot recently.
I closed the door behind me, and wandered off.
I started to cry heavier, so I decided to stay in that room the school said I could go, when I felt bad.
"Oh, Ally, I miss you." I whispered.
I hadn't kept my promise about the crying, but it didn't matter.
I had told the detective about it all, and that was all that mattered.
I wiped my tears away again.

The End
