I'm Never Going To Run Right

I was about to take Julianna outside when Nick stopped me. "I'll take her, we'll be back soon." he smiled and took Julianna's waist, gently pushing her outside. She looked up at him in shock.

"Oh-okay..." I smiled, "Feel better," she turned and nodded. I slowly began to walk towards the stairs with Jerry. "I feel bad, she probably has that flu going arou-around." Jerry had took hold of my hand, I looked down at it and gently let go, sitting on the middle step of the stairs. He stood to my left.

"What, I can't hold your hand?" he asked. I shook my head.

"Of course you can- I just  think it means something a little different...to you."

"Okay well tell me something, you like me right?" he asked. I bit my lip and nodded, "And, I make you laugh?" He grinned.

"Don't." I admitted.

"Why?" he asked, sitting down next to me.

"Cause you're about to ruin everything," I paused, "and I need you." I whispered.

"Well, I've got loads of time. I'm not gonna give up."

"I don't want you to. But, it's just cause I don't want you to go anywhere." I paused and looked down at my shoes, "I know, that's really selfish. But I'm not like a car that you can fix up... cause I'm never gonna run right."

He stared down at me, confused then I fell into his shoulder, pathetically. "I won't ever hurt you. I promise. You can count on me Ally. I'm never going to leave you."

The End
