All it took was for me to smell her, and I knew that she was a vampire. No human could smell so nice; like a mixture of lavender, apples and... some other stuff that is too perfect to compare to anything else. Her smell was different from most vampires' though. It was more... floral.
I shook her hand, smiling. She grinned and skipped away toward a pile of clothes and a towel. She began drying herself off, and put her clothes on over her swimsuit. I looked at her. She was pretty for a vampire...
She turned toward me,
"C'mon," she had been twelve point six meters away from me, but she had grabbed my hand before finishing talking.
"Where are we going?" I asked. She smiled.
