After living for around 200 years, you get tired of counting how many days you haven't been doing anything and start counting the days you actually do something.
I try not to feed too often, but sometimes I just can't help myself. Humans just forget about it anyways. I clean up nicely after myself.
Staring down a mere 150 feet to the bottom, I could finally feel my adrenaline pumping. I could feel the long gone butterflies spread their wings and flutter in my stomache. I ran back a couple hundred meeters and then ran forward as fast as i could, then... the world beneath my feet just disappeared.
"WHOOH!" I shouted as loud as I could. "Oh yeah!" I screamed before my face hit the surface of the water and I dived down.
I popped my head back up and and smiled. It felt nice to be able to jump off cliffs every once in a while.
"HEY!" someone shouted. "You okay?" A boy standing by the shore shouted towards me.
I swam back to the beach as normally as I could, afraid he might be some pest.
I walked up to him. He was a good 2 inches taller than me. He had a nice face and it looked like he kept his figure in tip top shape. Not bad. I thought to myself.
"I'm fine." I said as I smiled.
"Okay," he paused then realization finally hit him. "Hey, you're a Vampire!"
"In the flesh!" I replied in the same happy attitude. "My name's Haylie." I replied casually.
"I'm Raven." I reached out and shook his hand and he returned a smile.
