I was sat on a tree branch when I smelt Aria coming. She jumped up and sat next to me.
"Harmony wants you in her room in five minutes. She's gettin' everyone fitted for their weddin' outfits" she said in a monotone.
That wasn't like her. I guess she was just annoyed with me. "I'd like to see her get this in a suit" I said, tickling Aria's nose with the tip of my tail.
She sighed. I pulled her into a hug and she hugged back a little before pushing me off the branch. "Go get your suit done" she said coldly and wandered off into the forest.
I frowned but did what she said. I'd never seen her like this before but I figured doing what she said was the best thing to do. So off I went to Harmony's room. I knocked on the door and she pulled me inside, double checking measurements she mysteriously had written down. Weird, I don't remember getting measured by her...
"What are we going to do about that tail, though?" she asked, tapping her chin in thought.
"Well, we could let me wear this" I gestured to what I was already wearing. Okay, so it was a little tatty for a wedding but it'd do, right? I mean, a white fitted shirt, waistcoat and black trousers is good enough, isn't it?
"Put that on and give me a minute" she said, gesturing to a suit.
I slipped it on and I have to say, it was nice. I felt like I was ready to go out, make some cash and break some hearts. A hustler, I think they're called. I don't know, I never really picked up on slang I wouldn't use in everyday life. Harmony came back over and looked over the suit, taking extra time where my tail was.
"How do you deal with it in those?" she asked, gesturing at my usual clothes.
In answer, I pulled the trousers she's made down so they were resting halfway down my hips, meaning my tail was free to move about. She nodded and gestured me to take the suit off and put my clothes back on. Apparantly she was done with me.
"Uh, Harmony... When are you doing Sylvester's? I...I kinda need to talk to him".
"Not for a while now. I'll come find you first, okay?" she said and I nodded, smiling.
Nice to see some people didn't hate me.
