Waiting for morning was like torture. There were still Hunters out there and I'd just started to enjoy myself when we got forced back. I could've taken them on no problem. If Aria was with me we'd be unstoppable. I walked into the living room and saw Aria, curled up asleep on one of the sofas. Seeing her asleep was rare for me, she seemed to be able to survive without sleep and with little blood. I found myself smiling when she smiled in her sleep. That's when I noticed Sylvester sat on another sofa, not really watching her but not really ignoring her.
"You want to be careful" I said, sitting down next to the sleeping Aria.
"Why, in case you attack me again?" Sylvester said icily.
"It's not me you need to worry about, it's Aria. She might seem like an airhead but that girl's got brains. She can be very sexual when she wants to be" I said with a grin.
"And you'd know from experience, would you?"
"As a matter of fact, yes. Well, I got further than you, at least".
"What are you talking about?"
"Aria has a very interesting scent. I can smell her even if she's been gone for months. So basically, I can smell that kiss on your forehead".
Sylvester went quiet, no doubt thinking about the damn pureblood he killed. "She's pretty, no question about it, but when she gets her shine on... Let's just say, most of the male population would get on their knees and be her slave. And personally, I don't think she realises it".
Aria stirred in her sleep a little. As did the rest of the mansion. The sun had finally risen. We could finally go back and teach those Hunters the lesson of their short insignificant lives.
