Just When Things Could NOT Get worse

I nodded and started swallowing the water down. My throat was really dry and every was just really blurry and I could've sworn that I saw a unicorn behind Jasmine, and if that wasn't a sign of something bad, then I have no clue what the meaning of bad was. 

Feeling a cough rise up on my throat, I held it in; fearing that it might more than just a cough. I drank some more water, saving some for later.
