After a little while, I figured that we were about 5 or more miles from the camp, and that we were also on the wrong side of the river. I had no clue how to make a bridge or something to cross the river with and there was no way that I was going to go back in the river. I already found out that there was no way to cross it by swimming. Maybe if we followed the river back up we would find something to cross, but the only problem with that was Rowan didn't look like she could stand, let alone walk. It was too dark out anyways. I shivered a little and looked at her.
"Tomorrow morning we should follow the river up and try to find away to cross the river again. What do you think?" I asked, as kind as I could.
I hated being stuck with her, but unfortunately I was and I knew we had to work together or never see my friends or family again. Now that I think about it...it isn't that bad. Just dirty, cold, muddy, hungry, and stuck with the one person that I wish I wasn't. Okay, I lied. It is bad, really bad.
