I woke up to Cam knocking on my bedroom door. "How did you get in?!" I groaned, literally falling off my bed. I sighed and looked at my closet. Might as well stick with normal clothes, no point in dressing nicely if I was going to get stuck in a bus then with a crud load of bugs. I grabbed my overnight back. Another groan.
Sticking a brush through my hair I ran down the stairs. "Hey Rowan!" Cam greeted. "You all set."
I had totally forgotten that he got in my house. "How'd you get in here?" I repeated, shoving a granola bar in my mouth. The bus let out a loud beep that could've woken up the whole entire neighborhood. "Never mind." I muttered, looking at my mother with a pleading glance. She just merely shook her head and kicked me and Cam out of the house. Such a loving mother....
"Don't worry kiddo, you'll be fine with me." Cam said, joking. "But seriously, don't worry, I've gone camping before." he added, pushing me slightly into the bus.
"Uh-huh." I believed him, somewhat; but when he pushed me into the bus. I wanted to jump out and run for my house, and then hide in my closet. I kept my head up high and sat in the nearest seat I could find. Cam followed and sat next to me.
Sights passed us and I couldn't help but feel very tired. I tore myself away from the sights and looked at Cam, to tell him to take a look. He was fast asleep. My hero... How in the world could I trust him when he's asleep?! I sighed and shut my eyes. A nap wouldn't be so bad. I think.
