Sigh No More

We hear the whispers in the dark of the ghosts that we knew

As we continue our cobblestone path on the Holland road

Shone brightly out of the cave as the journey unfolded

Were the thistles and weeds that we’ve tried to fight

And as we kept time with our woeful steps after the storm

The winter winds gave my careful breath away to darkness

As I struggle to find the words to fit this white blank page

In hopes that maybe one day I will sigh no more.

Song titles from the forever beautiful Mumford and Sons.

The End
