I stepped into the house yanking off my hat. Damn, wearing all this black clothing in the sun was a damn nuisance. I looked around the house with my amethyst eyes. Trust Zack to let everything stay ancient and go rotten. I shake my head and pull of my gloves then my long coat. I drop it onto a chair and wait for Zack.
Zoe comes down a look of horror on her face. "What happened, Zozo?" I ask with a small smile. She looks at me with awe then slowly blushes before regaining her composure.
"Guys are disgusting" she says then stalks off. I watch with a frown. Hmm, I wonder what's wrong with her?
"Oh, hey Vic" I look up to see Zack coming down the stairs.
"Hey, Zack. Do you know what's wrong with Zoe?" I as curious. Zack scratches the back of his head.
"Oh, yeah. She sort of walked in on me at a wrong.... moment"
For a moment we're both silent. Then I can't help myself, I burst out laughing. I end up clutching my stomach I laugh so hard. "Moron" I laugh wiping away the tears that formed in my eyes.
"What you doing here anyway?" Zack asks.
"Oh yeah, I was wondering if you'd like to go out tonight. There's a teen party in the neighbourhood" I say with a shrug.
"Sure you'll be able to stay awake?" Zack asks.
"Dude, stop mocking my love of the sun" I say shaking my head.
"You burn in it"
"Why do you like it?"
"You complain about the heat all the time"
I pout and Zack just shakes his head with a smile. "Whatever" I mumble. "Look do you want to come or not?"
"I'm up for it" Zack says with a knowing smirk.
"Good. I'll see you later brain boy" I say with a smile. I then pull back on my coat, hat and gloves before opening up my umbrella. "I gotta go and eat"
"Don't throw up"
I growl at Zack before leaving out into the sun. I know I look like a total idiot as I walk along the streets to my appartment.
