Denver: Lighthouse High

I smiled. "Yeah, I'm cool like that." I said, with a weird nod. That made everybody start laughing again. While they were laughing, I slipped closer to Cindy.

"So, everyone, are you going to a human school?" I asked. "Becuase I'm going to Lighthouse High."

Owen raised his hand. "I am!"

I rolled my eyes. "I know you are, stupid. I'm talking to them."

Cindy nodded. "I am."

Marina nodded grudgingly, "I am too."

Fern shrugged. "I think I am."

And Aya shook her head. "No."

"Where are you going, then?" I asked her. When she didn't reply, I turned to the others. "Why haven't we all met before?" I asked. A look passed throughout the group, everyone shrugging. "It's amazing. There's, what, six of us? We should have known about each other before now." Again, everyone shrugged. I shook my head in disbeleif. How was it possible?

I looked down at my watch. "Shoot!" I said. "Owen, I gotta go!"

I started to swim off, and haerd Cindy's voice behind me.

"Wait!" she called, "I haven't told my story yet!" I turned back, srpressing a smug grin. My plan worked.
