Bobby: Sheet Music

I hear some amazing music coming from the practice room next to me. Whoever is playing on the piano has practiced a lot. Either that or the player is a natural.

I walk over to see that it is Kezzy. Another girl I have not met is with her. I wait for their conversation to be over and then walk up to Kezzy.

"Was that you?"

"Uh, yeah."

"That was amazing. I know who I want to team up with for the battle of the bands. Your piano playing will win the whole contest, methinks."

She laughs but doesn't explain what she laughed at, so I give her a look. She then explains, "Never heard anyone say 'methinks.'"

"Oh, that's just a word ... used it for years. It's kind of my thing."

I pull out a sheet of music and hand it to her. She puts it on the piano stand and plays the first few measures (or bars, depending on who you ask).

"So, what do you think?" I ask.

The End
