Carmen watched as Nicola ran into the distance and literally, exploded. Well, his powers anyways. Before she knew what she was doing, her hands were extended and she was fighting off the air and debris that was rushing at them. When her mind caught up to her body she imagined them all being surrounded, as if there was a gigantic windshield in front of them. Surprisingly, it worked. She felt eyes boring into her back as she stood at the front of the group and her arms strained under the weight of all the arm.
Stopping soon would be nice! she thought. Like that, the debris and wind died down. Her arms fell gladly to her sides and she panted lightly.
"Hey, are you guys alright?" yelled Nicola, lying on the ground seeming as if he was in pain.
"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm fine!" said Hope, the earth one, thought Carmen. Then, Hope collapsed to the ground. Carmen gasped and ran over to her. Gosh alot of people were fainting today!
"We should really get to my house before anything else happens," She said to the group and got up from Hope and yelled to Nicola. "I'm going to lift you!"
"What?" he yelled back, his face scrunched in confusion.
"Stay still!" she cried back. Lifting her left hand, she's left-handed, she created a small tornado type thing around Nicola. She heard him let out a little yelp before she brought him over to the group and layed him on the ground. "There," she said, even more exhausted. She'd never used her powers this much before!
"So, my house then?" she panted, wiping her forehead with her shall and smiling at the new people who had already made her life more interesting. Only half an hour, she thought, not bad.
