I laughed a little bit too loud at the image that popped into my head after a moment of silence; everyone was eating their hansbread. It was innocent, but it was so Pixel. Of course she would have the errant thought of possibly kissing Torrek.
Pixel looked up at me, and by the slight pink that was in her cheeks, she probably knew what I just saw. Torrek just looked at me like I was crazy.
"Hey, Torrek, you wanna know why I just suddenly laughed?" I said, mischievously grinning over at Pixel.
"ELENA!" Pixel snarled at me.
"Oh, Pixel, don't worry about it. I wasn't going to tell him what I Saw, I was going to tell him about the fact that I can See." I shrugged her off. "So, how 'bout it, Torrek? Wanna hear?"
"Umm... Sure..." He mumbled cautiously.
"Well, that was enthusiastic... Anyways, I have the gift of Sight. Do you know what that is, Torrek?"
"I guess... You see the future?"
"Yepperoonis. Like, if Pixel here thinks about doing something, I'll probably see it, because I've become so attuned to her over the past years." I sat down with my legs curled under me.
"Let me get this straight. If I decided to, oh, tackle Pixel right now, or kiss her or something, you would see it?" Torrek asked, a small smirk playing on the edge of his mouth.
"Yep. You understand, I see. It's can be a... very interesting gift."
"Yes, so, care to tell me what you saw before you laughed?"
"I'm pretty sure Pixel wouldn't be very happy if I told you that... Though, seeing as I keep seeing it, something tell me she'll tell you in a sec... I'm gonna go... Yeah, bye!" I got up and bolted out of the little hut.
Maybe it's time to go play with the men with the ships... I grinned. Today was gonna be a good day.
