Alec and I held our breaths as the bus rolled down the road, and to our glee, it’s break lights came on and it stopped before us- the doors swung open.
We boarded the bus and walked back looking for a suitable open seat. A girl sat alone in the eighth or ninth row, and a vacant seat was opposite to her. Alec slid in and I followed, sniffing the air curiously.
Werewolf, I thought to myself, and glanced at the girl sitting in the opposite seat, who was at the moment looking out the window.
“And so our ride begins,” Alec murmured so only I heard. I smiled my crooked smile at my brother.
The bus began to move again, and I wondered to myself, where are we going?
