Martin looked over at Auvrea and the other angel. He felt like a fool for storming over there. He just... He just didn't want anything else to come between him and Auvrea. Sighing, he knew what he had to do. Again. He sighed again and lifted himself out of the chair. Walking over to them, he hugged Auvrea from behind; he looked over her shoulder, past her golden blonde hair.
"Look, I'm sorry, OK? Just... Me and Auvrea haven't had what you'd call an easy ride. I mean, that vampire? He was provoked and Auvrea here, always the pacifist, tried to stop him. She got bit. And... It got complicated. I just didn't want anything to tear us apart... Again. I love her. And I hope she loves me."
