I shouldn't

"My name is Lyra , you wanted to use my name then right?" she asked.

He didn't answer her even though she was right. This girl, Lyra, was strange. At first she counted the stolen money in the bathroom leaving the door opened. Then she tried to runaway with the stupidest plan a criminal would think of. Later, she asks him if she can have the window seat. He looked at her. She was sleeping on the glass and her brown hair spread on the other side. She's attractive, he thought as he imagined her hazel eyes when she told him her name. Jase watched her sleeping then he picked up a blanket and covered her.  I should turn in too he said.

"I won't do it. Stop!" he woke up on her voice shouting. She was hallucinating. Jase didn't know what to do, so he picked up the fallen blanket and covered her again. She was salient again. As he was trying to sleep, he felt her head moving and lying on his shoulder. He smiled. "It's been a long time since a girl rested her head on my head." He removed this thought. " I shouldn't. She is a criminal. Concentrate on your work."

He woke up, and there she was still lying on his shoulder. He remained seated. He didn't want to wake her up. After a few minutes, Lyra adjusted herself frantically. Jase controlled his laugh as he watched her.

"Good morning Lyra" he said.

"Morning" she answered confused.  A few minutes went by then she said. " By the way thank you for covering me."

"No problem. You seemed cold last night." He looked at her, but something seemed to annoy her. "Is there any problem?"

"No there isn't," she stopped and blushed, "W- Well there is. I need to go to the bathroom."

Jase smiled. "Yes sure as long as you don't have a hidden razor or a knife, maybe a gun."

"No guns no razors nothing but I should go."

He released her and walked her to the bathroom. On there way there she lost her balance but she grabbed the seat next to her.

" Are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm just a little dizzy. It's been a couple of days since I ate." Then she made her way to the bathroom.

He handcuffed her again. The rest of trip went in complete silence though Jase was urging for a small conversation to go on. The bus stopped in the station, so he went to the shop. When he returned he threw a bag on her lap. "Here. Eat. I brought you some food. Hope you'll like them," and then he got of the bus before she could thank him.

The End
