Jase rushed to the front. I could hear his footsteps coming toward me. I wiped my tears and surrendered myself. Again I was seated in the first row and when he was about to handcuff me I asked him; "Can I sit in the inside seat?"
He stared at me for a moment. I didn't quite know if it was annoyance or simply he wanted to laugh at me. Anyway I didn't care; I just wanted to sit near the window- maybe view the world for the last time.
"Go ahead-" he stopped "just go ahead"
I sat there handcuffed and rested my head on the window watching the streets cars and buildings as the sun was settling. The bus lights were on, and I noticed Jase's reflection on the window. I observed his features. He was attractive especially with his coal black eyes. The next thing I found myself telling him without moving my head; "It's Lyra"
He turns his head confused; "Excuse me?"
"My name is Lyra," I stopped for a moment and looked at him "you wanted to use my name then right?"
He didn't answer, so I returned to my window, rested my head and closed my eyes. I should sleep I thought. I didn't sleep from yesterday. I corrected myself. I didn't sleep since a long time. I took a deep breath and prevented myself from thinking until I slept.
My eyes were still closed, but I could feel that underneath my head wasn't glass. I opened my eyes and found myself sleeping on Jase's shoulder. Frantically, I adjusted myself. It was early in the morning. I look around me and find a blanket covering me.
"Good morning Lyra." The voice next to me said.
