I still couldn't understand what had just happened. I looked at my arm. I couldn't even see a scratch. "I must have been dreaming." I thought, "the runway which lasted a couple of days, the accident, the fake diamond and the money."
"The money!" I freaked and touched my body. It wasn't a dream after all. I remember now. I conned a man by selling him a fake diamond, but he turned to be one too and knew that it was fake. I was in my car getting away from the bar as I noticed that he and his men were following me. I drove as fast as I could until they lost me. However I stayed on the road for another day. I wanted to get as far as I could. I was scared. These men were dangerous-not the one I dealt with but for whom he works for. Before I crushed, I thought I saw one of there cars so I sped even more without seeing the coming curve. "Now I'm here." I thought relieved.
The ride lasted long and maybe we still needed an hour to reach somewhere I could stop at. I stood up and made my way to the bathroom. I wanted to check the money so badly. As I was walking to the bathroom and observing the passengers, I saw him. I rushed into the bathroom. My heart was beating fast by now.
"Was it him? The man who sat next to the blond woman?"
I stayed in the bathroom not knowing what to do.
