Their Sport

Darkness. Pure darkness. everytime it happened, that was all I could see. Then streaks of light would split the walls. And dead breathe would force it's way out my lungs. Gasping for air, then I'd wake up.

A boot crackeda rib as I coughed myself back to life, I rolled away and stumbled onto my feet. An arm warpped around my neck as a knee was brought up to my nose. sing the force I threw myself backwards, we both hit the wall, his grip loosening enough for me to swing my elbow into the side of his neck. He collapsed as dagger went through my back. The guards had broken their own rules about using weopons. The darkness engulfed me and I was gone.
