I nervously walked into the pharmacy, looking around at the other people hovering around the shop.  I didn't want to hand in my prescription with them watching but it looked like I didn't have a choice.  I kept quiet and handed the lady at the counter my prescription.

'Ahh another one.'  She muttered as she started tapping on her keyboard.  A piece of paper spewed itself out of the printer and the woman handed it to me hurriedly.  I mumbled a 'thank you' and started to turn to escape but was confronted by one of the others who had been hanging around.

'So what have you got?'  She nodded to my piece of paper.  I read the small print on it.

'Six months at school and confinement to only one story until it is completed.'  This was going to be hard.

'Harsh, what's it for?'

'I have an I.F.S.'  The girl winced.

'Nasty.  I hear those can be one of the worst.'  I nodded.

'Yeah it does kind of suck.'  It didn't look like I would be leaving soon.  'So what's your name?'  I tried to make polite conversation, my insides feeling like jelly.  I didn't like talking to strangers.

'Rayley.  I've been given school treatment for idleness so it looks like we'll be seeing more of each other.  How about you?  What's your name?'

'I'm Rhiannon.'  I gave a small, quiet smile, hurriedly looking at the floor when I realised what I was doing.  I was making a friend.
