Brandon: "It's something you would do!"Mature

I wasn't happy to hear what Dillon did to me at the party. I was going to leave the whole situation alone. After all, that was water under the bridge, and I didn't want to mess with it anymore. Besides, I don't think it was Dillon who drugged me, anyway.

However, when I heard what Stacey did to Dillon, I decided that I couldn't take it anymore. Someone has to stop her, I thought.

"Stacey!" I yelled as she came out of a classroom. She ignored the fact that I just yelled at her and started spouting some of her usual nonsense. How was I ever attracted to that?

"Stop!" My tone was just as loud this time around.

"What?" She finally stopped her ranting. "What do you want, Baby?"

"First of all, don't call me Baby." I took in a deep breath and continued, "We are done."

"What do you mean?"

"I heard what you did to Dillon."

"You going to let that tramp get in the way between you and me?"

"It's not like that," I said, trying very hard to stay on point. But, something changed in Stacey's tone.

"Wait a minute!" She raised her voice. "You wanna be with her? That ugly ... ugly thing?" She started beating me on my chest, cussing at me.

I grabbed her by her arms and spoke a little slower. "I don't like Dillon, but I am tired of you." Then, speeding up my speech a little, continued, "I don't know who drugged me at the party. I don't think it was Dillon, but I know it's something you would do."

"I would never do that to you."

"Quit lying. I know you have taken them. You've even asked me to take part. So, scram ... I never want to talk to you again."

I pushed her off of me and waved her away. She stood there for a minute and then stormed off, angrier than I had ever seen her.

I don't know what Monster I have created, and I don't know what Stacey will do now. I do know one thing. We are no longer a couple, no matter what she thinks.

The End
