Mr. Kerr: Well, well, well...Mature

".. and that is how you do base equations. Have a good weekend kids."

I turned around and began to erase the board as the students all left for the weekend. I turned around and walked to my desk and began to pack up my stuff. Then, Brandon walked in, I turned around.

"Hello, Brandon, what do you need?"

"I want to know."

"You want to know what?"

"Did you murder Aubrey?"

My eyes sharpend to Brandon immediately.

"No, I did not, I'm just as curious to see who the killer is just as much as you."

Brandon took a few quick steps forward.

"No, it was you wasn't it. I know about you and Aubrey! She, she could have threatened you! And then, you probably killed her to cover it up!" Tears began streaming down Brandon's face. "You killed her, it was you!"

I walked forward to Brandon, my face asheen with sweat. I put my hands on his shoulders. He wiggled away.

"Don't touch me!"

I stood up and took a step back.

"I didn't kill Aubrey, and whatever you think know you don't understand." God, what did he see? "I didn't kill her, you did."

Brandon looked at me with fear and pain in his eyes.

"Don't you remember, in a drug filled rage you grabbed Audrey and shook her because of what you thought was true. And when she denied it, because it wasn't true, you killed her in a fit of rage. Don't you remember?"

Then, Brandon stood up, wiped the tears from his eyes and said.

"I didn't kill her, why does everyone say that, I didn't kill her." Then he ran from the room, and out to the hallways.

I began packing my stuff away again, put it all away and walked to my car. But, spraypainted on the side, in bright yellow letters was the word 'Murderer.'

The End
