Marii and I walk down the endless corridors then find ourselves back to exactly where we started.
"Hey!" I exclaim, "We just walked a complete rectangle! Good work!" We grin at each other. We lost our way so many times that the "map" told us to "Please stay on track" around five times. She sounded a little annoyed.
"Hi!" Some one walks up to us. Her face is familiar. No way! "I'm your...well I suppose you could say monitor for the duration of this trip. Think of me as an older sister and we'll get along fine. I'm not here to tell you what to do, more what not to do. If you need anything just ask me. That's my room there." She gestures, "I'm in charge of your safety and comfort basically. Oh and I almost forgot, my name is Eris Dynomia Fiyelle but you can call me Eris."
I gasp loudly, I was right. Eris Dynomia Fiyelle! On this ship! Looking after us lot! Um, whoever the rest of us lot would be. "I've heard of you! You're the girl who passed the carrier test with full marks when you were only 18."
Eris laughs, "God I feel ancient! You make it sound so long ago, it was only last year. I didn't realise I was so famous for it anyway..."
She glances at a tiny pad on her palm. "Ah you must be April." I nod and smile. Turning to Marii, she asks, "And you're Marii yes?"
"Yep, that's me," Marii answers.
"Where are you girls heading to?" Eris asks.
"Ummm... the cinema?" I look down at the minimap on my palm, chuckling, "I think..."
Eris takes the map away from me and takes a look.
"You're going the wrong way." She tells us, I thought so. I look at Marii and we both grin. Then we all burst out laughing. "Here I'll take you there. I was thinking of going myself to watch Avatar."
"We want to see it too!" Marii and I say together.
"Then let's go together. I hope you don't mind if I join you?"
"Nope, not at all!" I answer, "At least we'll actually get to the cinema this time, Marii!"
We arrive at the cinema and spot a gigantic Avatar screen beside the doors. Avatar was made mya, but it took them fifteen years to develop so its definitely worth it! There, Eris leaves us to check up on the other people she's looking after. Before leaving, she hands us a small handset which I fit snuggly in my ear comfortably. Then we wave goodbye and thanks to Eris and walk in.
