Roland: Oops

I was bored. Everyone was content to laze around, and I knew that I should be, too. But after getting attacked and a talking bobcat, well, I was too hyped up. So after a few fidgety minutes, I threw on a cloaking spell and went off to explore the tunnel.

For a while there wasn't anything all that interesting. A few stalactites here, a bit of crystal there, but nothing really grabbed my attention. I was about to turn around when I noticed a large, strangely colored formation. Intrigued, I decided to go in for a closer look. I walked up to the stone and placed my hand on it. Strangely enough, it felt warm, like it had been lying in the sun all day. But there was no way the sun could reach it in here.

The rock suddenly rose into the air. I realized with horror that it was not made of stone after all, but of living, breathing flesh. I let out a strangled yelp. The sound came out a just a whisper and I remember that I had a cloaking spell on. I breathed a sigh of relief and began to walked away, hoping that the creature would go back to sleep. But I was hit from behind and fell to the ground. I twisted around and held my side, which the creature had hit. How had it seen me? I realized that it didn't have any eyes. This meant it had some other way of finding me, rendering my cloaking spell ineffective. I leaped to to my feet and shouted, stripping off the spell so the others could hear me.

"You guys! I need your help!"

The End
